Mahindra Group and Anduril Industries have joined forces in a strategic partnership to develop cutting-edge Autonomous Maritime Systems and AI-enabled Counter Unmanned Aerial System (CUAS) technologies. The collaboration aims to enhance regional security by deploying advanced autonomous solutions and improving maritime operational capabilities. One of the key focuses of the partnership is the development of modular Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs) that can be swiftly deployed for Security, Surveillance, Survey, and Reconnaissance missions. These AUVs are designed to significantly enhance underwater operational capabilities.
Additionally, the partnership will work on advancing Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (CUAS) technologies to detect and neutralize drone threats, providing enhanced protection against unmanned aerial systems. The collaboration also includes the development of a sensor fusion platform to integrate multiple sensor technologies into a flexible, open API architecture. This platform aims to streamline integration processes and accelerate the adoption of advanced technologies across complex security programs.
Mr. Vinod Sahay, Group Executive Board Member of Mahindra Group, expressed the significance of the partnership in advancing security and autonomous technologies. He highlighted the collaboration as a milestone in Mahindra Group’s commitment to developing advanced capabilities. Mr. Greg Kausner, SVP- Global Defence of Anduril Industries, emphasized the importance of autonomy in addressing evolving security threats. He mentioned the partnership with Mahindra as a strategic move to bring cutting-edge autonomy-enabled capabilities to the Indian market.
