Gateway Terminals India (GTI), also known as APM Terminals Mumbai, has entered into a memorandum of understanding with Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) and Vadhvan Project Ltd. (VPPL) to develop a skills training program for the port sector. This strategic cooperation aims to enhance employment opportunities and diversity in the port industry, aligning with the government’s emphasis on skill development.

The initiative demonstrates a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion, focusing on creating a job-ready workforce to support the government’s initiatives for employment generation. The training program, organized at GTI premises, will provide vocational and technical expertise in areas such as safety, maintenance, planning, and equipment operations, ensuring individuals have the necessary skills for port operations.

Through expertise in port operations from GTI, administrative support from JNPA, and development goals from VPPL, this alliance aims to drive economic growth and prosperity in India.
