The ‘Vizag Cruiser’, the first sea-based cruise tourism venture in Andhra Pradesh, is expected to be available for tourists within the next one to two months. The cruise ship MV Sai Vaishnavi will operate within 10 nautical miles in the Indian territorial waters off Visakhapatnam coast in the Bay of Bengal. Authorities are currently awaiting the allotment of a dedicated jetty to berth the cruise ship, with discussions ongoing with the Visakhapatnam Port Authority.

The 80-seater vessel MV Sai Vaishnavi, owned by Shore & Ship Resorts Private Limited (Gill Marines), features twin-engine, air-conditioned wardrooms suitable for various events. The cruise ship will offer packages in six categories, starting with ‘Morning Waves’ for early risers seeking coffee and breakfast onboard. The ‘Midday Mingle’ package offers lunch and refreshments, while ‘Sunset Cruise’ includes snacks and guided tours of scenic spots. ‘Serenade Dinner Party Cruise’ features dinner and music performances, while ‘Morning Dive’ offers scuba diving excursions. ‘Mariner’s Daylong Adventure’ offers a full-day trip with various activities such as photo shoots and fishing.
