Layonel Ramírez Collado, a 23-year-old Spanish man, was rescued after 38 hours adrift in the sea near the Canary Islands. The vessel, drifting after machinery issues, was reportedly 354 nautical miles east of Bermuda when an engine explosion occurred, though this is unverified.
