Salvage Crews Continue Moving MSC Baltic III Wreck Toward Land
Wreck removal teams have successfully moved the grounded containership MSC Baltic III approximately 53 meters towards the shore in Newfoundland and Labrador. Salvage operations continue, with around 4,200 tonnes removed so far. Environmental monitoring remains a priority, amid concerns of residual fuel potentially causing further pollution during dismantling.
