Royal Caribbean’s Star of the Seas, the world’s largest cruise ship, has set sail on its maiden voyage from Port Canaveral, Florida, on August 31. Accommodating over 5,000 passengers across 20 decks, this sister ship to the Icon of the Seas is designed like a floating city. It features eight neighborhoods, 40 bars and restaurants, a lush park with 30,500 plants, and seven pools, including a 12-meter surf simulator.

Onboard entertainment is diverse, offering attractions such as the Back to the Future musical with a replica flying DeLorean, a rock-climbing wall, laser tag, and a skywalk. Guests can also enjoy a gaming lounge, karaoke, cinema, mini-golf, and ice shows in the ship’s arena. Additional amenities include a music hall, casino, fitness center, Starbucks café, spa, and an escape room.
