Columbia Group has partnered with Prevention at Sea (PaS) to enhance compliance across its managed fleet by implementing the MORSE digital compliance platform. This initiative aims to integrate electronic logbooks with standardized compliance processes, significantly improving operational efficiency.
The MORSE platform will provide real-time visibility into reporting activities, enhance data quality, and reduce administrative burdens for onboard crews. This transition is expected to streamline operations and allow crew members to focus more on their core responsibilities rather than time-consuming paperwork.
In addition to deploying the MORSE platform, PaS will serve as the auditing component of Columbia Group’s compliance framework. They will implement the Behavioral Competency Assessment & Verification (BCAV) program to foster a strong compliance culture throughout the fleet.
