Yara Marine Technologies (YMT), a prominent supplier of green technology to the shipping industry, has been acquired by Okapi Supply Trading Advisory for an undisclosed amount. YMT, originally a part of Norwegian fertiliser company Yara, offers a range of green technologies including vessel optimization, wind-assisted propulsion, emissions abatement, and shore power. Yara has stated that the divestment of YMT aligns with its strategy to focus investments on sustainable food solutions and clean ammonia.
