Germany’s coalition government has announced a €1.6 billion fuel price relief package to combat rising oil prices linked to the Iran conflict. The energy tax on diesel and petrol will decrease by €0.17 per litre for two months. Additionally, companies can offer a €1,000 tax-exempt bonus to employees.
