NYK’s Coal Carrier to Host Innovative Carbon Capture Tech
NYK has signed a memorandum of understanding with Hokkaido Electric Power to explore onboard carbon capture and storage technologies. This collaboration will focus on a demonstration project in Tomakomai, Japan, targeting the decarbonization of maritime transport through innovative equipment on the Pirika Moshiri Maru, enhancing environmental performance.
