Strait of Hormuz Sees Dramatic 70% Fall in Shipping Traffic
Shipping traffic in the Strait of Hormuz has dropped to about 70% below pre-conflict levels, as reported by the UK Maritime Trade Operations agency. Last week saw 125 outbound and 129 inbound transits, a significant decline attributed to ongoing attacks on commercial vessels, with 12 incidents reported in just one week.
