ENVGO, a new company in the maritime industry, has introduced an all-electric hydrofoiling boat called the NV1. This vessel boasts a large battery pack with DC charging capabilities and a hydrofoil design that allows for impressive range on the water. Led by executives with backgrounds in robotics and technology, ENVGO has received investments from a group of backers who see the potential in a fully electric maritime industry. The company has also partnered with superyacht designer David Weiss to assist with design and engineering.

The NV1 electric hydrofoiling boat has been officially unveiled by ENVGO, with pre-orders now open. This 25-foot luxury cruiser can accommodate six passengers and features state-of-the-art hydrofoil technology that enables it to glide smoothly and quietly above the water. With a carbon fiber hull and a fully electric motor, the NV1 can cruise at speeds of up to 25 mph and reach a top speed of 50 mph. Its 80 kWh battery pack offers up to 80 miles of range and can be charged using DC fast charging or level 1 or 2 AC charging while docked.

ENVGO’s advanced hydrofoil technology and electric propulsion systems provide a fourfold increase in performance compared to other electric solutions on the market. The NV1 not only meets the luxury market’s demands but also offers a sustainable option without compromising on performance. The boat also includes features such as smart charging management, self-stabilizing avionics while foiling, and autonomy features. Pre-orders for the NV1 are now available with a $1,000 fully refundable deposit.
