Ocean Safety will debut the Jon Buoy Recovery Module MK 6 Valise at SMM 2024, offering a complete solution for man overboard incidents. The new Valise version is designed for bulkhead storage, making it suitable for vessels where above-water mounting is not possible. This addition to the Jon Buoy range is ideal for pilot boats, harbor control boats, and other commercial vessels. The module can now be mounted on a bridge wing for easy deployment and features an automatic inflation system upon water contact for quick and visible recovery of MOBs.

In addition to the Jon Buoy, Ocean Safety will also showcase its Ocean SOLAS Throw-Over Ellipse Liferaft at SMM 2024. This liferaft meets SOLAS/MED requirements and is now approved for British flagged commercial vessels. The liferaft’s universal size allows for easy installation on a variety of vessels without the need for additional stowage facilities. The company will also display its Ocean SOLAS Compact liferaft, an evolution of its military range, as well as a range of MOB recovery equipment, lifejackets, and other commercial safety products from its suppliers.
