Historic Lightship Museum Strikes Sailboat Near Heligoland
On June 7, German rescue teams responded to a collision near Heligoland involving a historic lightship and an 11.5-meter sailboat. Fortunately, no injuries occurred, but the sailboat was severely damaged, losing its mast. The lightship, known as Bürgermeister O’Swald, returned to its berth unharmed as an investigation commenced.
