DP World Executive Chairman H.E. Essa Kazim recently visited India, meeting with officials from the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) to explore collaborations in port infrastructure, logistics, and trade. Accompanied by CEO Yuvraj Narayan and the Global Board of Directors, Kazim’s October 7, 2026 visit highlighted the nearly thirty-year association between DP World and JNPA. Their discussions included the development of Vadhavan Port and investment in the JNPA Special Economic Zone.
During the trip, Kazim and Narayan inaugurated Phase 2 of the Nhava Sheva Business Park (NSBP), which adds one million square feet of warehousing capacity to the existing facility. This expansion represents an investment of around ₹500 crore ($52 million) and is designed to enhance DP World’s logistics infrastructure, integrating port operations with connectivity solutions.
Kazim emphasized India’s strategic importance in DP World’s global strategy, expressing a commitment to support the nation’s growth as a leading trading nation. The expansion aligns with DP World’s aims to provide comprehensive supply chain solutions, reinforcing their focus on meeting the evolving needs of customers in both domestic and international markets.
