Hybrid 5G Satellite Tracking for Shipping Launched
Portuguese telecom operator Nos has successfully tested a hybrid communication system for maritime cold chain tracking. Integrating its 5G network with Fossa Systems’ nanosatellites, the solution enables real-time cargo monitoring. The system tracks temperature and humidity, enhancing the safety and quality of goods transported over long distances.
