MSC Containership Saves Cruise Passenger After 20 Hours in Water
The Hellenic Coast Guard successfully rescued a 44-year-old woman from El Salvador, who jumped overboard from the Odyssey of the Seas cruise ship in the Ionian Sea. After nearly 20 hours in the water, she was found conscious but suffering from mild hypothermia, thanks to a nearby containership’s alert.
