Thailand Updates Safety Rules for Underage Seafarers
Thailand’s Maritime Labour Committee recently assessed draft regulations regarding hazardous work for seafarers under 18. During the August 10 meeting, two proposals were discussed: one updating the list of prohibited hazardous jobs, and another outlining safe tasks for young crew members, ensuring their health and safety in compliance with international standards.
