Arkas Line is pushing forward with its expansion plans for the year 2025, by extending its service network and venturing into new markets. The company is broadening its international reach by introducing a new route to India, following the recent addition of routes to America and the Red Sea to its global maritime network. The new route, called “India Med Service (IMS),” will commence on February 10, 2025, with four vessels initially, and will eventually operate with five vessels by June 2025, still running once a week. The route will cover ports such as Ambarli, Evyap, Aliaga, Mersin, Aqaba, Jeddah, NhavaSheva, Mundra, Jeddah, Aqaba, Alexandria, and Ambarli.

Furthermore, Arkas Line is aiming to facilitate the movement of goods to major trading hubs in India’s interior by leveraging rail connections from the ports of Mundra and Nhava Sheva. The company is also restructuring its Mediterranean service network by consolidating its SEM, EMS, and GPS services into a new “Blue Med Service (BMS)” line. With this new service structure, Arkas Line seeks to strengthen its presence in the Mediterranean region by operating all vessels in the new line and introducing a new route from Alexandria to various ports including Beirut, Genoa, and Casablanca. The company’s expanded network will cover 27 countries and serve 72 ports across 33 services.

In summary, Arkas Line’s expansion efforts will see the introduction of the “India Med Service (IMS)” route to enhance its international reach in the Indian market. In addition to expanding its service network, the company is streamlining its Mediterranean services with the launch of the “Blue Med Service (BMS)” line to offer a more comprehensive and efficient service structure. By operating all vessels in the new line and introducing a new Mediterranean route with stops in key ports, Arkas Line aims to solidify its presence in the region and meet the growing demand for shipping services.
