ClassNK has received authorization from the French Government’s Directorate General for Maritime Affairs, Fisheries, and Aquaculture to conduct surveys for French-flagged vessels. This enables ClassNK to perform statutory surveys and issue certificates in compliance with international conventions such as SOLAS, MARPOL, and the International Convention on Load Lines.
With this new authorization, ClassNK can now provide a comprehensive one-stop service for French-flagged vessels, encompassing classification, statutory surveys, and certification. The organization has also been granted authority by over 100 countries and regions globally to carry out similar functions, including many European nations.
As an officially recognized society by the French Government, ClassNK aims to enhance the safety and regulatory compliance of French-flagged vessels. The organization remains committed to delivering high-quality services that support the growth of the global maritime industry and address customer needs effectively.
