ISWAN (International Seafarers’ Welfare and Assistance Network), in partnership with the ISWAN India Association, is offering a series of interactive sessions aimed at enhancing the wellbeing of seafarers, their families, and shore staff. These programs are designed to address the specific needs of the maritime community, providing crucial support and resources.

The initiatives range from preparing cadets for their initial voyages to offering assistance for seafarers’ families at home. ISWAN’s approach is centered on understanding and responding to the real challenges faced by those in the maritime industry.

For 2026, several open online sessions are scheduled, including the Family Outreach Programme on June 6, July 4, and August 1; the Seafarer Education Awareness Session on June 12, July 17, and August 21; and the TOGETHER IN CARE program focused on enhancing the wellbeing of seafarers, families, and shore staff on June 19 and September 4.
