New Pressure Drop Tester Launched for Marine Engines
Germany’s CM Technologies (CMT) has launched a compact Pressure Drop Test Instrument (PDTI) to help ship operators identify cylinder pressure leaks early. This proactive tool assesses pressure loss in diesel engines, allowing engineers to detect issues like worn piston rings and valve leaks, ultimately reducing fuel consumption and repair costs.
