Iranian Attacks Push Hormuz Shipping Toward Tehran-Controlled Northern Route

Iranian attacks on commercial shipping are increasingly diverting vessels away from U.S.-coordinated routes through Omani waters and toward Tehran-controlled corridors. UKMTO reports a rise in projectile strikes, with 16 of the 18 incidents since July 6 occurring in the northern corridor, leaving traffic in the Strait of Hormuz drastically reduced.
