Tanker Hit in Strait of Hormuz, UKMTO Reports
A tanker was struck by an unidentified projectile while navigating the Strait of Hormuz, north of Khasab in Oman, according to the UK Maritime Trade Operations. The incident, reported by military authorities, occurred 12 nautical miles from Khasab. Fortunately, there were no casualties or environmental damage. An investigation is underway.
