IMO Awards Norwegian Diver for Courageous Rescue Effort at Sea
The International Maritime Organization has posthumously honored Norwegian rescue diver Adrian Willyson Brask with its Exceptional Bravery at Sea award. Brask, a chief mate, tragically lost his life in 2025 while heroically attempting to save a child from a capsized fishing vessel, showcasing extraordinary courage and selflessness.
