Seafarers in Muscat must obtain medical fitness certificates through examinations by physicians accredited by the General Directorate of Maritime Affairs, as mandated by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology. Only reports from approved medical professionals will be recognized, ensuring compliance with maritime health and safety standards.
