His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum inaugurated the Dubai International Boat Show 2025 at Dubai Harbour, emphasizing the event’s continued success as a reflection of Dubai’s growing appeal to various sectors of the maritime industry. With over 1,000 exhibiting brands from 60 countries, the show features more than 200 modern yachts and watercraft, solidifying its position as the Middle East’s largest marine lifestyle exhibition.
The Sheikh praised Dubai’s vision to establish itself as a premier global tourism destination and a leading hub for marine tourism, particularly focusing on yachts and boat tourism. He credited Dubai’s investments in advanced infrastructure, including state-of-the-art ports and marinas, for attracting global players in the maritime industry and ensuring a seamless experience for visitors. Supportive regulations have also been implemented to encourage investment and innovation in the sector.
During his tour of the event, His Highness visited various pavilions and stands, including Dubai Police, Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, and prominent yacht manufacturers like Sanlorenzo and Gulf Craft Inc. Accompanied by key officials from Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism, DP World, and Dubai Sports Council, the Sheikh highlighted the significance of the Dubai International Boat Show in showcasing the world’s premier boatbuilders and promoting a luxurious nautical lifestyle. The event, which has grown in size and prestige since its inception in 1992, continues to attract a diverse range of participants and exhibits, from watersports activities to high-end fashion and marine-inspired art.
