Bureau Veritas Marine & Offshore (BV) has officially endorsed the MARINE cybersecurity framework developed by ThreatScene SA, a prominent cybersecurity services provider. The MARINE framework, created in collaboration with the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping, aims to assist the maritime industry in combating cybersecurity threats. It offers practical and scalable guidelines tailored specifically for the maritime sector to enhance cyber resilience in vessel operations, port infrastructure, and interconnected maritime systems. This endorsement recognizes MARINE as a valuable tool for maritime organizations seeking to strengthen their cybersecurity capabilities in accordance with industry standards.

ThreatScene SA also provides a free online self-assessment platform for organizations to evaluate their cybersecurity maturity, compare scores with industry peers, and receive a customized gap analysis report. This report identifies key areas for improvement, enabling companies to prioritize security enhancements and establish a structured path towards cyber resilience. As part of the endorsement agreement, ThreatScene SA will continue updating the framework in collaboration with BV to ensure alignment with technological advancements, regulatory changes, and emerging cyber threats.
