Captain and Crew Held Responsible in Deadly Guyana Ferry Sinking
On Tuesday, the captain and two crew members of the capsized ferry in Guyana were charged with murder after 73 deaths and 30 missing. The vessel, Barima, sank on July 18 while traveling from Georgetown to Port Kaituma. The defendants were remanded, with the case adjourned to August 3.
