Onboard Training Facility Launched to Support Emerging Indian Seafarers

The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways has launched a six-month Structured Onboard Training Programme aboard the MV Swaraj Dweep. Initiated on July 15, 2026, this initiative aims to enhance the employability of Indian seafarers by providing essential onboard training for General Purpose Rating and Maritime Catering trainees.
