Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (“K” LINE) and Akademi Laut Malaysia (ALAM) have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to launch a scholarship program aimed at students at the Malaysian maritime institution. This initiative represents “K” LINE’s inaugural effort in maritime talent development within Malaysia, focusing on nurturing the next generation of maritime professionals through both academic and practical training.

The scholarship program will provide selected students with financial assistance and opportunities for shipboard training on vessels managed by the “K” LINE Group. This hands-on experience is designed to equip students with essential operational skills at sea, enhancing their readiness for careers in the maritime sector.
