Obstacles Pushing Women Away from Seafaring Roles
Despite global initiatives to enhance diversity, women remain underrepresented in the maritime sector, particularly at sea. The latest IMO-WISTA survey reveals that women constitute only 1% of seafarers in surveyed organizations.
