India’s Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways is set to launch the India Maritime Centre (IMC), a key initiative under the Maritime India Vision 2030 led by the Narendra Modi administration. The IMC comprises three subgroups focusing on awareness and outreach, infrastructure and operationalization, and procedure and documentation. Secretary of the shipping ministry, TK Ramachandran, expressed his dedication to establishing the IMC as a world-class institution that will shape the future of India’s maritime industry.
