Aurelia Introduces Zero-Emission Ferry to Revolutionize Bahamas Inter-Island Travel

AURELIA recently hosted Silas Cooper, the Honorary Consul of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas to the Netherlands, at its Amsterdam office. The working visit aimed to discuss enhancing inter-island connectivity in The Bahamas, focusing on AURELIA’s innovative zero-emission ferry and cruise concept. This vessel is designed to provide sustainable, silent maritime transport between the islands.

During the meeting, which also included Bastiaan Visser from Sustainable Capital Group, Cooper reviewed AURELIA’s business plan and expressed strong support for the initiative. He highlighted its importance in advancing The Bahamas’ goals for sustainable and resilient transportation infrastructure.

Raffaele Frontera, AURELIA’s Owner and CEO, emphasized the significance of this collaboration, stating, “We are proud and grateful for the trust shown by Consul Cooper.” He reiterated the commitment to implementing deployable green technology in island transport, moving beyond theoretical concepts to practical applications.
