LALIZAS is expanding its presence in the Americas, having previously entered North America with acquisitions in 2018 and 2024, and launching LALIZAS Canada in 2025. Now, the company has acquired ATIVA NÁUTICA, Brazil’s leading lifejacket manufacturer, marking a significant milestone in its global growth strategy. Founded in 1998 by Marta Lara and Roberto Sampaio, ATIVA began as a small operation and has since grown to employ 200 people, with Julia Ramalho continuing to uphold the company’s values within LALIZAS.

Marta expressed pride in ATIVA joining a prestigious global group, emphasizing the comfort in knowing that LALIZAS will nurture and respect its legacy. The acquisition aligns with LALIZAS’ history of partnering with small businesses and enhancing their success without compromising their identity.

Stavros Lalizas, Founder and CEO, highlighted that this acquisition underscores LALIZAS’ strength as a trusted industry leader, committed to empowering companies while honoring their roots. With ATIVA now part of #thelalizasforce, LALIZAS aims to elevate the nautical industry in Brazil, setting new safety standards across continents.
