Hoppe Marine and AVL Analytical Technologies GmbH have partnered to launch a new generation of Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) tailored for the maritime sector. This collaboration merges Hoppe Marine’s strengths in maritime instrumentation and digital solutions with AVL’s expertise in emissions measurement and gas analysis.
The new CEMS portfolio features two specialized product lines: HOCEM GHG, which focuses on continuous measurement and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions, and HOCEM SC, designed for the ongoing monitoring and verification of exhaust gas cleaning systems, or scrubbers.
These advanced solutions aim to provide shipowners with precise, real-time emissions data, facilitating compliance with regulatory standards and enhancing sustainability reporting. Additionally, they contribute to improvements in vessel performance, aligning with the industry’s growing emphasis on environmental responsibility.
