Indian missions in the region are actively engaging with the diaspora, including community organizations, professional groups, and businesses. This outreach is crucial for maintaining connections and support among Indian nationals abroad.

Air travel between the region and India remains operational wherever airspace permits. Since February 28, approximately 1.068 million passengers have traveled from West Asia to India, indicating a steady flow of movement despite ongoing challenges.

In the United Arab Emirates, a limited number of non-scheduled commercial flights are currently in operation, with around 110 flights anticipated between the UAE and India on Saturday. Similar services are also continuing from airports in Saudi Arabia and Oman, facilitating travel for those looking to return to India.

The Indian Embassy in Tehran has successfully evacuated 2,373 Indian nationals from Iran, utilizing routes through Armenia and Azerbaijan. This group includes over 1,000 students and several hundred fishermen. The government has pledged to continue its coordinated efforts to ensure the safety of Indian citizens and maintain seamless maritime and travel operations amid the evolving regional landscape.
