US military forces have redirected 92 commercial vessels as part of a maritime blockade against Iran, according to a statement from the Central Command. As of September 6, the military has also disabled three vessels and boarded two others to ensure adherence to the blockade. Additionally, a US Air Force F-35A stealth fighter jet has been deployed to patrol the regional waters.
