Zinus Power LLC has secured a contract from the Connecticut Port Authority to enhance the New London State Pier Shore Power Project. This initiative aims to expand shore power capabilities, allowing vessels to connect via battery-powered mobile cable management systems.

The delivery of these systems is set for late Q4 2026, marking a significant step in modernizing the port’s infrastructure.

In addition to improving operational efficiency, this project underscores Zinus’ commitment to domestic value creation, as it will be the company’s first endeavor with assembly conducted in the United States.

This collaboration not only supports local industry but also aligns with broader sustainability goals by facilitating cleaner energy use for maritime operations.
