The Afghan Voice Agency (AVA) reports that the 22 crew members of the Tusca ship, who were transferred to Pakistan last night, will be handed over to Iranian authorities today. This development follows the earlier statement from ABC News, which cited the US Central Command (CENTCOM) regarding the commencement of the process to return the seized Iranian vessel and its crew.

The 22 Iranian sailors had been detained by US forces for over two weeks before their transfer to Pakistan, where they are set to continue their journey back to Tehran. This transfer is part of a larger effort to resolve the situation involving the Tusca and its crew members.

Last week, six crew members were released by a regional country and successfully returned to Iran. With the current transfer, all 28 crew members of the Tusca have either been released or are in the process of returning home.

According to CENTCOM, the Tusca has been moved to Pakistani waters for legal clearance and is expected to be returned to its original owner. This situation highlights ongoing maritime tensions and diplomatic efforts in the region.
