Marine Fuel Industry Survey Launched to Boost Compliance with FuelEU Maritime

Phi Earth Technologies has launched a market-research survey aimed at stakeholders within the marine fuel industry, including shipowners, operators, and fuel suppliers. This initiative focuses on understanding how the sector plans to demonstrate fuel origin and compliance with the FuelEU Maritime and the International Maritime Organization’s Net-Zero Framework. The survey is crucial for gathering insights as the industry adapts to these evolving regulatory standards.

Based in Singapore, Phi Earth is developing a digital platform designed to verify the source and production methods of low-carbon fuels. This platform integrates a Measurement, Reporting and Verification (MRV) system, which acts as a reliable record of fuel lifecycle data, alongside an AI digital twin that forecasts supply. Sean M. Holt, the company’s President, emphasizes the need for accurate proof of fuel consumption rather than mere assertions about engine capabilities, urging industry participants to provide candid feedback.
