Tragic Drone Strike on Black Sea Ships Leaves One Dead, Five Hurt

A drone attack on civilian vessels in the Black Sea on Thursday evening resulted in the death of one crew member and injuries to five others, as reported by Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, via Telegram. The attack targeted two ships registered under the flags of Panama and Saint Kitts and Nevis while they were departing from port.

Kiper detailed that one crew member was killed and two were injured on one of the vessels, while three crew members sustained injuries on the other. Despite the incident, both ships have continued their voyages, and the port infrastructure remains operational.

The official emphasized that these attacks are indicative of a deliberate assault on civilians and pose a significant threat to global food security.
