Gaslog, a prominent international owner, operator, and manager of LNG carriers and FSRUs, has chosen Propulsion Analytics to develop a customized version of the Engine Hyper Cube® platform for its fleet. This platform, enabled by Kongsberg Digital’s Vessel Insight cloud infrastructure, will enhance engine performance analysis using high-frequency data from onboard sensors. By integrating data sources and insights, the platform aims to optimize engine condition assessment, performance, and maintenance decisions for GasLog’s vessels.
The primary objectives of this advanced platform include enhancing engine availability, optimizing fuel efficiency to minimize environmental impact, and implementing data-driven predictive maintenance strategies. By combining continuous engine performance monitoring, prognostics, and optimized operation, GasLog aims to improve vessel reliability, reduce downtime, and lower greenhouse gas emissions. The platform will also facilitate flexible overhauling planning in alignment with LNG carrier trading profiles and dry dock schedules.
