DP World’s Mundra International Container Terminal (MICT) achieved substantial growth in the fiscal year 2024-2025, handling 1,497,228 TEUS, which marks a growth of over 13% compared to the previous fiscal year. The terminal also serviced 762 vessels, showcasing a 6.57% increase, solidifying Mundra’s crucial role in advancing India’s position in the global trade network.
In March 2025, DP World Mundra reached its highest-ever monthly volume by handling 138,983 TEUs, surpassing the previous record set in January 2025. The terminal connects directly to various regions such as the Far East, Southeast Asia, Middle East, East and West Africa, and the Mediterranean. It expanded its global reach further by introducing a direct service, MECL, from Mundra to the United States East Coast. Additionally, DP World Mundra offers the ME11/MX service under the Gemini Cooperation, providing direct weekly connections between the Indian Subcontinent, Middle East, and Europe.

The focus on expanding trade routes, improving multimodal connectivity, and ensuring seamless supply chains drives global market access and growth for businesses. DP World Mundra’s sustainability efforts include transitioning to electric power for all container handling equipment, forklifts, and light vehicles at the terminal, significantly reducing diesel consumption, cutting carbon emissions, and showcasing a dedication to environmentally responsible practices and greener logistics.
