Muscat – A delegation from the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) visited the Maritime Security Centre (MSC) today, led by Vice Admiral S. Paramesh, the Director General of the ICG.
Upon their arrival, the delegation was welcomed by the Acting Head of the MSC. The visit aimed to strengthen cooperation and understanding between the two maritime organizations.
During the visit, the delegation received a comprehensive briefing on the MSC’s tactical roles and responsibilities in ensuring the safety of Oman’s maritime environment. This included discussions on the various challenges faced and the strategies employed to address them.
The delegation also toured the MSC’s facilities, observing the advanced equipment and technologies utilized in their national duties, highlighting the importance of collaboration in maritime security efforts.
