UAE Shipbuilders Launch Consortium to Drive Industry Collaboration

AD Ports Group has established the Consortium of UAE Shipbuilders, creating a collaborative platform for vessel repair, shipbuilding, and marine engineering. This initiative seeks to unify national industrial capabilities and enhance transparency throughout project pipelines.

The consortium’s founding members include prominent national entities such as SAFEEN Drydocks, Premier Marine Engineering Services, and Dubai Shipbuilding and Engineering. Additional participants in this launch comprise Al Seer Marine, Dutch Oriental, JOME Engineering, Saifee, Blue Gulf Ship Builders, and MBK Marine Industries.

Leading the consortium will be Noatum Maritime, a subsidiary of AD Ports, which will oversee coordination within the domestic maritime sector. This platform is specifically designed to enable small and medium-sized enterprises to engage in larger projects, facilitating access to both local and international markets.
