Fincantieri and Viking recently celebrated the delivery of the “Viking Mira” at Fincantieri’s Ancona shipyard. The event was attended by key figures including Jeff Dash, Viking’s Executive Vice President, and Giorgio Gomiero, Senior Vice President of Fincantieri.

The “Viking Mira” boasts a gross tonnage of approximately 54,300 tons, featuring 499 staterooms and the capacity to accommodate up to 998 passengers. This small cruise ship will operate itineraries in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe, adding to Viking’s ocean fleet, all constructed by Fincantieri.

Designed to meet the latest international safety and navigation standards, all Viking vessels incorporate advanced technology and efficient propulsion systems. These features aim to reduce emissions and minimize environmental impact, adhering to the highest industry standards.
