The Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF) and the International Group of P&I Clubs (IGP&I) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on promoting education and training in marine liability for Singapore’s talent pool. The MoU, signed during Singapore Maritime Week 2024, aims to leverage the strengths of both organizations to provide high-quality maritime education and talent development for the industry. As part of the cooperation, SMF and IGP&I will design and deliver professional development courses on topics related to marine liability, such as P&I insurance, claims case studies, safety at sea, and more.
